I wonder if any of us ever gets the life we choose? Perhaps in the end our lives are only what we make of them. Someone I have grown to admire over recent months is fond of saying, “Live the life you love.” Maybe that is as close as we come to getting the life we chose in a world that allows us so little control over our lives?

has been saying is coincidentally from one of Bob Marley’s quotes who is from my home country Jamaica 🙂 where he says
“Live the life you love…love the life you live” http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/93997-love-the-life-you-live-live-the-life-you-love and Half Pint used it in his Greetings song https://youtu.be/b_a3si21K_I. So she is surely on the right track by using that as a mantra and this also goes back to my quote. For although we may not get to choose our lives when we first make our entrance into this world…we can take control by determinimg how we live it and in essence live the lives we love :).
